The Learning and Instruction Department offers exciting and unique programs at the doctoral level.
Learning and instruction is the application of psychological principles and concepts to solve problems in educational and training settings. Individual differences, cognitive and social development, learning and motivational theory, instructional design, classroom teaching and management, and assessment are common topics addressed in the program.

Visit our website here to learn more about this program The program provides working professionals with the research skills and core content to make use of and contribute to the knowledge base in learning and instruction. Using the latest technology to assist in instructional delivery and support, coursework focuses on learners and learning, instructional settings, research skills, and special education. There is also an option to obtain a Concentration in Special Education or a Concentration in Digital Technology for Teaching and Learning (nine credits).
