Doctors of Philosophy in Tourism in Poland

The PhD is a doctoral degree, specifically called a "doctor of philosophy" degree. This is misleading because PhD holders are not necessarily philosophers (unless they earned their degree in philosophy!). That said, PhD recipients are able to engage in thought experiments, reason about problems, and solve problems in sophisticated ways.

Tourism programs may prepare students for careers in the industry, teaching them how to be excellent managers, planners and coordinators. Subject in these programs might include tourism and hospitality management and decision making, marketing and event design.

Like many other EU countries, Poland offers inexpensive or even free tuition to EU students. Prospective students should apply directly to their chosen Polish institution. The University of Warsaw, for example, charges between £1,300 and £2,500 per year for its English language courses.
